The New Bond Street store is stocking exclusive designs created by talented students from the college.
It's the start of the British Summer Social Calendar, aka The Season of Hats. Ascot, Henley, weddings: all the great occasions of the forthcoming months call for a bit of creative thinking up top. Step forward millinery students from Kensington and Chelsea College. So impressed was Fenwick, New Bond Street, W1, that the London store is stocking 12 exclusive, one-off designs.

“Customers want a unique piece, and that’s what they are getting with these designs,” says Lecia Finch, buyer at Fenwick. “We have people coming in enquiring about the one-off pieces, because they know that no-one else will have anything similar. The level of talent at the college is simply phenomenal.”
Take your pick from an elegant beige hat punctuated with black and scarlet feathers, a vivid rouge, wide-brimmed design, or an unusual sea-green creation moulded from feathers – all are guaranteed to induce hat-envy at any event which requires a topper this season.
