When I dished up some style advice for pulling off the jumpsuit look yesterday, a few of you commented that it was one wardrobe item that could never be separated from its Don't-ness, no matter how you style it. "There's really only one mistake to avoid when wearing a jumpsuit - wearing a jumpsuit," wrote dagnytaggart87. But can a fashion-forward star like Rihanna make you change your mind?

She showed up to the after-party for her Los Angeles show wearing this very un-Rihanna-like look. We're used to seeing her sport stuff that's edgy and sexy and of course, showing plenty of skin, but bright birthday party inspired prints (with ruffles!) aren't necessarily her thing.

There are plenty of trends squeezed into one look here--the jumpsuit, a one shoulder silhouette, polka dots--but is it overkill?
